October

And the breather is over, lets finish this! Please note that I haven’t seen previews of all the movies coming but this is purely based on the previews that I have seen so far.

October 3rd:

Star Wars Episode 2: Attack of the Clones 3D
Ten years after the ‘Phantom Menace’ threatened the planet Naboo, Padmé Amidala is now a Senator representing her homeworld. A faction of political separatists, led by Count Dooku, attempts to assassinate her. There are not enough Jedi to defend the Republic against the threat, so Chancellor Palpatine enlists the aid of Jango Fett, who promises that his army of clones will handle the situation. Meanwhile, Obi-Wan Kenobi continues to train the young Jedi Anakin Skywalker, who fears that the Jedi code will forbid his growing romance with Amidala.
I enjoyed this movie a lot actually, it was the first Star Wars movie that I saw in the cinema so it was a first for me and it was not even that bad. Curious about the movie in 3D.

Rush
Set against the sexy, glamorous golden age of Formula 1 racing in the 1970s. Based on the true story of a great sporting rivalry between handsome English playboy James Hunt (Hemsworth), and his methodical, brilliant opponent Niki Lauda, (Bruhl). The story follows their distinctly different personal styles on and off the track, their loves and the astonishing 1976 season in which both drivers were willing to risk everything to become world champion in a sport with no margin for error: if you make a mistake, you die.
This sounds like a very exciting movie, I like F1 races and I know this is based upon a real event and on real life people but I can’t wait to see how it all happened in that time. I doubt we will be disappointed.

Unfortunately there is no trailer available yet.

October 9th:

Planes
An animated adventure that follows a young crop-duster named Dusty as he looks to compete in a perilous around-the-world race.
I have nothing with Cars, I really dislike that franchise from Disney Pixar but this spin-off is absolutely more my taste, I love to fly. First this movie would be just a dvd/blu-ray release but I am very happy that Disney is allowing this DisneyToon Studios film to come to the cinemas. (yes, it is not a Pixar movie, it is a spin-off and so Disney allowed their DisneyToon Studios to make this movie, something they do often, creating spinoffs and direct to dvd movie).

Turbo
A freak accident might just help an everyday garden snail achieve his biggest dream: winning the Indy 500.
A new project from Dreamworks Animation and you have to admit, they are on a roll the last couple of years where they are creating hit after hit with new daring franchises and have become for many their favorite animation studio. I dont know if people love a “racing snail” as much as a dragon but we will see :).

October 10th:

The World Ends
Five friends who reunite in an attempt to top their epic pub crawl from 20 years earlier unwittingly become humankind’s only hope for survival.
Wow, an unofficial sequel to Shaun of the Dead, Edgar Wright’s conclusion of his trilogy, I  can only hope it is going to be as much fun as Shaun of the Dead was.

Unfortunately there is no trailer yet.

October 17th:

The Tomb
Ray Breslin is the world’s foremost authority on structural security. After analyzing every high security prison and learning a vast array of survival skills so he can design escape-proof prisons, his skills are put to the test. He’s framed and incarcerated in a master prison he designed himself. He needs to escape and find the person who put him behind bars.
Stallone and Schwarzenegger working together in a movie are automatically guaranteeing that this movie is going to be action packed. I wish they would work together more often because old-skool action flicks are always welcome.

Unfortunately there is no trailer yet :(.

Star Wars Episode 3: Revenge of the Sith 3D
It is three years after the Clone Wars. The leader of the droid army, General Grievous, has captured Chancellor Palpatine on board his ship, the Invisible Hand. Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi and Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker must fly through Coruscant safely, and enter the Invisible Hand so that they can rescue the captive Chancellor. Just when Palpatine is about to be released, Count Dooku shows up. Obi-Wan and Anakin both battle it out with him, but Obi-Wan ends up unconscious. Anakin slices off his head and kills him. Anakin carries Obi-Wan, and Palpatine follows him. They meet General Grievous face to face, and Anakin tries to fly the last half of the ship so that they can safely land on Coruscant. Later, Palpatine starts acting strange, constantly manipulating Anakin into believing that the Jedi Council is against him. Eventually, it is found out that he is the Dark Lord of the Sith. Jedi Master Mace Windu fights him…
Another 3D conversion, I know, but Star Wars is always great to watch and I would like to see how they made this movie in 3D.
